THORACIC, CARDIAC AND VASCULAR SURGERY
RESIDENCY PROGRAM
FACULTY OF MEDICINE AIRLANGGA UNIVERSITY
This Residency Program is based on Department of Surgery, Dr. Soetomo General Hospital.
This program is developed to educate and to train medical doctors to be Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgeons who are skillful, professional, innovative, and hold a high integrity, built upon moral and religion. In order to achieve a title of Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgeon, residents are obliged to complete various grades from Basic General Course to Advances Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgery subjects and skills.

This program can be completed within 5 years of study (10 semesters) with the amount of 179 semester credit. Based on reference : 673/43 / KR / 2012
- Graduated(S1) from accredited Public or private Universities
- Average grade-point 2,75 or more
- Age should not over than 35 years old upon entering general basic course (MKDU)
- Minimum TOEFL 500
- Holding ATLS, ACLS or BSS certificates
Graduates from this Study program will be entitled as Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular Surgeon (Sp.BTKV). Based on SKMKKI: 61/SK/MKKI/IV/2aa3
